Hello there my name is Shawna Jo Stites, I’m just writing this little doo-dad of a blog to try and help and maybe find a few people who went through a similar situation as I went through. I can tell you one thing it was no cake-walk. Speaking of cake that happens to be one of my favorite deserts. Especially Pioneer Woman’s tres leches cake, it’s to die for. I really don’t like that word die, for obvious reasons, oh I just about died.

As you read this blog you will find I talk about the Pioneer Woman a lot. She is my, As Anne Shirley would say my kindred spirit. I simply adore her not in a simple way. Along with my love for PW, I love my red hair and was sad to see it go for all of my surgeries. I have a passion for traveling, and photographing those travels. I love star trek next generation, the Avengers (especially the Hulk). As well as cooking for me and my family and friends. I love my family, everyone of my ten brothers and sisters and eighteen nieces and nephews. Nothing makes me happier than being around them…for a scheduled amount of time. It can get pretty crazy, that is a lot of chaos in one house but also a lot of love. Let’s change the tone for  a little bit with things I HATE. I hate snakes, needles, heights, and chocolate, in that order. I would like to end on love so I love old movies, classic musicals, and my favorite princess will always be Ariel. We redheads have to stick together! And I love you Mom and Joey.
